Why is he friends with that guy? Guy I know, an American Filipino, union electrician and glazier, son of a Hells Angel who owned a bar, was a union craftsman, and owned several units in San Francisco (How's that for old school?), has a friend that in my opinion, is all over the place. His friend has problems with his girlfriend, but still I think he's like that anyway. Well, anyway, compassion has a place, but I still think he'd be hard to work with. I don't know why the first guy is friends with him. Guy's pretty tight as a person, but smart, too. His friend supposedly has a million dollar lawsuit. We'll see what the gossip turns up.

Your either with us or against us: That's what George Bush has said, but what a generalization! Yet, when it comes to giving the thumbs down to Proposition 75, I have to agree with my union. Some of the membership may bicker about what the union hasn't done, but what? Do they want the union, their health and pensions cut off at the legs? Those public employees don't have to join the union if they don't want to. 25% don't. And the corporate stockholders already outspend the workers 24 to 1, nationally, 16 to 1 statewide. No thank you.

Heard a post about volunteering today. I was also called greedy by someone unhappy. What a contrast. Sorry. Don't want to share my resources with someone that wants to bargain with me and finishes up with spiteful remarks.

Novato Island
Wow, a rhythm and blues group played Kool and Gang music to a whole crowd of Novato-ites and their families at Lake Stafford for Labor Day. The band members were the only, and I mean only colored folks in the crowd and everyone there, including preteens and fingers and the tolddlers they were babysitting was dancing to the beat. Nice.
